Checks and Balances Bookkeeping, Inc. was founded in 2009 by Jennifer Marrone.

Jennifer knew that many small businesses needed experienced bookkeeping and clerical assistance. But as a small business, many are not in a financial position to attract experienced help or incur the expense of a full-time employee.

Jennifer worked for numerous small businesses and saw a need among small business for a reliable bookkeeper. In 2009, she decided her talents could be better applied helping America’s small businesses.

Jennifer has many years of bookkeeping and office experience. A a graduate of C.W. Post University, Jennifer is also a New York State Notary Public. She continues her education taking accounting classes, and legal classes to better serve her colleagues and clients. Jennifer is a member of the American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers(AIPB) and the National Association of Certified Public Bookkeepers (NACPB).
